Essential Functions and Responsibilities

The Corporate Recruiter will lead the full-cycle recruitment process; identify and qualify candidates and build a robust pipeline for current and future positions; develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies focused on driving candidate generation. Facilitate the interview offer processes in partnership with hiring managers and HR department. You must be able to successfully manage, prioritize and work against a timeline. The best candidates will draw on extensive knowledge of Talent Acquisition and the ability to network with all functional areas of the affordable multifamily housing industry to understand current and future staffing requirements. Provides support in functional areas of Human Resources. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within this field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.


Generate a high-volume pipeline of candidates under very tight timelines to deliver upon both immediate and strategic long-term talent needs.


Responsible for creating and maintaining job postings and necessary updates that are needed within the Applicant Tracking System.


Post openings, source candidates, and manage workflow on external job sites in addition to various resources.


Conduct phone screen to pre-qualify candidates; conduct in-person interview to qualified candidates within the framework of the position specifications.


Maintain detailed records of recruiting efforts for weekly Recruiting Meeting and roll up reporting.


Attend career fairs and find creative ways to source candidates outside of the online applicant pool by creating ideas to attract new candidates.


Monitor and advise on processes and fine-tune standard processes for candidate sourcing in partnership with HR & Employee Development teams.


At least 3 years minimum experience successfully recruiting and hiring candidates using a variety of research techniques and tools.


Experience conducting multiple searches, projects and managing competing priorities mandatory.


HRIS experience with sourcing, tracking and managing candidates.


Strong commitment to continuous improvement; ability to proactively network and establish effective working relationships.


Perform other duties as assigned.

Required: Valid Driver License


Bilingual English/Spanish a plus, but not required.


Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. or B.S.) or an Associate’s Degree (A.A. or A.S.) or High School diploma or general education degree (GED); equivalent combination of education and experience. At least 3 years of experience recruiting candidates using a variety of research techniques and tools. Experience conducting multiple searches, projects, and client relationships. HRIS experience with sourcing, tracking, and managing candidates. Display knowledge of multiple recruiting sources (i.e. Zip Recruiter, Indeed, Glassdoor, Craigslist, job fairs, trade schools, colleges, various employment resource centers, etc.) and possess proven sourcing techniques to identify and engage these resources.
