    Essential Functions and Responsibilities

    The Recruiting Assistant will assist the Talent Acquisition Specialist in the full-cycle recruitment process in order to maximize efficiency. Helps facilitate the hiring process and professional communication with applicants. Being well-organized, results-driven, and employing excellent interpersonal and communication skills is imperative for this role.

     

    Facilitate a high-volume pipeline of candidates under tight timelines to deliver upon both immediate and strategic long-term talent needs.*

     

    Assist in the development of candidate talent pipelines through sourcing channels and database searches.

     

    Process applicant prescreens, reference checks, offer letter requests, organize applicant hiring documents and coordinate interview schedule.*

     

    Establish effective working relationships and provide customer service to prospective employees throughout the entire recruitment process.

     

    Maintain detailed records of recruiting efforts for weekly recruiting meeting and roll up reporting to the Talent Acquisition Specialist.*

     

    Monitor and advise on processes and fine-tune standard processes for candidate sourcing to roll up to the Talent Acquisition Specialist.

     

    Perform clerical functions including handling phone calls, scanning documents, and managing emails for TAS.

     

    Ability to learn and apply commonly-used concepts, practices, procedures, and knowledge within the affordable housing industry in order to understand the needs of the Hiring Managers and qualifications of prospective employees.

     

    Maintain and deliver recruiting process flow by following internal policies and procedures, accurately tracking candidate and requisition activity, and adhering to all relevant compliance and legal requirements.*

     

    Assist in the coordination of other recruiting activities and events as needed.

     

    Accurately track and monitor Cascade job postings on appropriate job boards.

     

    Perform other duties as assigned.

The employee will be regularly communicating through telephone, Skype and in person and must have the ability to perceive the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction.
