Essential Functions and Responsibilities

The Lease-up Assistant supports the Lease-up Specialist and is responsible for answering phones, checking voicemails, following up with potential tenants by phone and/or email, and sending confirmations by fax to confirm potential tenants’ income, employment status, and assets.

 

1. Support the Lease-up Specialist with all marketing activities as it relates to the company and the properties managed by Cascade.*

 

2. Responsible for managing and coordinating the lease-up project from beginning to end. *

 

3. Perform various outreach activities throughout Oregon and Washington. *

 

4. Communicate effectively with potential tenants. *

 

5. Schedule and organize potential tenant meetings.*

 

6. Manage effective communication through phone(s), email, and fax with applicants and other necessary contacts for lease-up purposes.*

 

7. Manage calls and voicemails for up to 4 phone lines at once. *

 

8. Maintain files and materials necessary for travel and meetings.*

 

9. Maintain data entry and tracking information necessary for lease-up operations. *

 

10. Regular and reliable attendance during scheduled hours*

 

11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and experience with email, fax, and customer service; equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations
Valid Driver’s License and insurance is required.

 

Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure
manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or
employees of organization.


Mathematical Skills
Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all unites of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and
decimals.


Reasoning Ability
Ability to problem solve, and deal with a variety of situations where only limited standardization exist. Ability to interpret a
variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
