The Talent Acquisition Assistant will assist the Talent Acquisition Specialist in the full-cycle recruitment process to maximize efficiency. Helps facilitate the hiring process and professional communication with applicants. Being well-organized, results-driven, and employing excellent interpersonal and communication skills is imperative for this role. This is an entry level position, that requires a self-driven and motivated individual that is eager to learn. Cascade provides the career path and training, that is specifically designed for the development of the individual to learn and grow into a career within the Talent Acquisition Team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Facilitate a high-volume pipeline of candidates under tight timelines to deliver upon both immediate and strategic long-term talent needs. *
2. Assist in the development of candidate talent pipelines through sourcing channels and database searches.
3. Process applicant prescreens, reference checks, resume reviews, offer letter requests, organize applicant hiring documents and coordinate interview schedule. *
4. Maintain detailed records of recruiting efforts for weekly recruiting meeting and roll up reporting to the Talent Acquisition Specialist. *
5. Monitor and advise on processes and fine-tune standard processes for candidate sourcing to roll up to the Talent Acquisition Specialist.
6. Perform clerical functions including handling phone calls, scanning documents, and managing emails.
7. Ability to learn and apply commonly-used concepts, practices, procedures, and knowledge within the affordable housing industry in order to understand the needs of the Hiring Managers and qualifications of prospective employees.
8. Maintain and deliver recruiting process flow by following internal policies and procedures, accurately tracking candidate and requisition activity, and adhering to all relevant compliance and legal requirements. *
9. Assist in the coordination of other recruiting activities and events as needed.
10. Accurately track and monitor Cascade job postings on appropriate tracking sheets and job boards.
11. Review resumes and conduct phone screens to pre-qualify candidates; conduct in-person interviews to qualified candidates within the framework of the position requirements. *

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability
to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations
Valid Driver’s License and insurance is required.
Education and/or Experience
Associates degree (A.A or A.S.) or High School diploma or general education degree (GED): equivalent combination of education and experience. At least 1 year of experience in an office setting using a variety of research techniques and tools.
